She has a video show called Tech Debate and occasionally appears on Fortune's weekly live show, Fortune Live. She writes a monthly column for the Los Angeles Times and publishes a weekly newsletter for fun.
Prior to joining Fortune, Erin wrote about startups for Pando, a Silicon Valley site where she was the second hire. Before that she worked a staff writer at Adweek, reporting on technology and digital media.
Her work has appeared in The Atlantic, Salon, Cosmopolitan, BBC, AARP magazine, Time Out New York, Bust, The Huffington Post, Long Shot, Got a Girl Crush zine, and Brooklyn Based. She hosted a live radio show for Pando and co-hosted a podcast for the buyout industry called Talking Private Equity.
In another life, Erin wore suits and interviewed private equity barons as a Senior Reporter covering private equity, leveraged loans and M&A for peHUB.com and Buyouts magazine.
She also covered consumer products, retail and apparel for Mergermarket LLC, where her deal scoops appeared on Mergermarket, dealReporter, Debtwire, Deal Drivers, and FT.com.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, minors in Philosophy and English, and a Women’s Studies certificate from Ohio University.
